About the Role
FileMakr is looking for a creative and efficient Video & Reel Editor to join our team immediately. In this remote, part-time role, you will be responsible for editing highly engaging short-form video content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.). If you have a good eye for pacing, trends, and storytelling, we want to hear from you.
Work Schedule
- Hours: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Daily)
- Days: 6 days a week
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality Reels and short-form videos.
- Add dynamic text, captions, graphics, effects, and transitions to enhance viewer retention.
- Sync video cuts with trending audio, voiceovers, and sound effects.
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time during your daily shift.
- Collaborate remotely with the team to align on the creative vision for each video.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, specifically for social media (please provide a portfolio or links to your work).
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or advanced mobile/desktop apps like CapCut).
- Strong understanding of current social media trends, pacing, and formatting for vertical video.
- A reliable internet connection and your own editing setup.
- Strict availability from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 6 days a week.
