Role Description The Video Editor Intern is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting the production of engaging digital video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and branded storytelling. Day-to-day tasks include editing raw footage into polished videos, arranging clips, adding transitions, and syncing audio to meet project requirements and brand guidelines. The intern will assist with basic color correction, visual consistency, and simple motion graphics or text overlays to enhance viewer engagement. Responsibilities also include collaborating with marketing and design teams to understand creative briefs, organizing media assets, exporting deliverables in multiple formats, and maintaining an efficient workflow. The role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing content creation, mentorship from experienced team members, and opportunities to contribute creative ideas to campaign concepts.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage and assembling narratives.
- Ability to perform basic Video Color Grading for consistent visual tone and quality.
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and simple visual effects.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to follow creative direction and brand guidelines.
- Good communication skills and comfort working collaboratively in a remote, digital-first environment.
- Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program (e.g., film, media, communications, design) is beneficial but not required.
- Portfolio or sample projects demonstrating video editing or motion graphics work is highly preferred.
