Role Description
The Video Editor Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The intern will support the creative team by editing video content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions and basic effects, and ensuring audio and visuals are aligned with brand guidelines. The intern will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing specialists to adapt videos to different formats and aspect ratios, optimize content for engagement, and meet deadlines. The role also involves organizing project files, maintaining media libraries, and contributing creative ideas to enhance video storytelling and production quality.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with the ability to work with raw footage and create coherent, engaging stories.
- Competence in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual tone and enhance overall video quality.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with Graphics to support visual narratives and campaign requirements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion design tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to follow creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, social media content, and current video trends across platforms.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to learn from feedback in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Coursework or ongoing studies in media, film, design, communication, or a related field are beneficial, as is a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work.
