Video Editor Intern – Trading Media

We're building a modern trading media brand focused on transparent market analysis, educational content, and live trading. Our mission is to make financial markets more accessible through high-quality, engaging content across YouTube, Instagram, X, and other digital platforms.
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern who is excited to grow alongside the brand and help shape its visual identity from the ground up.
About the Role
As our Video Editor Intern, you'll transform livestreams, market analysis, and educational content into engaging short-form and long-form videos.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced editing, understands social media trends, and wants to build a portfolio in the finance and creator economy space.
Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form content.
- Create engaging highlight clips from livestreams.
- Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and transitions where appropriate.
- Design clean, professional thumbnails for YouTube.
- Maintain consistency with the brand's visual identity.
- Organise and manage video assets efficiently.
- Collaborate with the founder to develop engaging content ideas.
- Meet agreed content deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has a strong interest in video editing and digital content creation.
- Is proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Has a good understanding of YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and social media editing styles.
- Has an eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Is organised, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Can receive feedback positively and continuously improve.
Experience in trading or finance is not required, but curiosity about financial markets is a plus.
Bonus Skills
- Motion graphics using After Effects.
- Basic thumbnail design.
- Colour correction and audio enhancement.
- Familiarity with OBS recordings and livestream workflows.
