About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Video Editor who is equally skilled behind the camera-someone who can own the full visual storytelling process from shoot setup to post-production. You’ll plan, shoot, light, and edit high-impact videos for YouTube, social media campaigns, and events-ensuring our brand comes alive on screen.
You’ll work closely with our content, social, design, and performance teams to create videos that not only look stunning but also drive engagement, retention, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Production & Planning
● Collaborate with creative leads to conceptualize and storyboard video content
● Scout and prepare shoot locations, ensuring optimal light, space, and backdrop setups
● Plan shot lists, camera angles, and equipment requirements for each project
2. Shooting & Lighting
● Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and audio gear
● Set up and control lighting rigs for different moods, environments, and formats
● Capture both scripted and candid footage for brand, performance, and social content
3. Video Editing & Post-Production
● Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with brand tone
● Add motion graphics, transitions, colour grading, and sound design where required
● Sync and mix audio elements (dialogue, music, sound effects) for crisp output
4. Multi-Platform Content Creation
● Adapt long-form content into short-form formats optimized for Reels, Shorts, and Stories
● Ensure all outputs meet platform-specific specs and best practices
● Create video thumbnails, teasers, and promo cuts for social and paid campaigns
5. Trend & Quality Alignment
● Stay ahead of content trends, editing styles, and shooting innovations in the industry
● Benchmark against competitors and viral content formats for relevance
● Maintain an organized archive of footage, project files, and equipment inventory
Key Skills Required
● Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro (DaVinci Resolve is a plus)
● Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting setups, and audio recording
● Experience in colour correction, grading, and motion graphics integration
● Creative direction sense for framing, transitions, and narrative flow
● Ability to work on tight deadlines while maintaining quality
● Strong communication skills for team collaboration
