Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Dhanbad. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, organizing project files, and editing videos according to client and internal briefs. Day-to-day tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color correction, adding audio tracks and sound effects, and preparing final exports in the required formats.
The role also involves collaborating with producers and designers, incorporating feedback, maintaining brand and style consistency across projects, and managing timelines to meet delivery deadlines.
Salary: ₹15,000–₹25,000 per month (based on skills, experience, and portfolio).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in video editing is required.
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with the ability to manage projects from raw footage to final output.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, ensuring a consistent and appealing visual tone across different types of content.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and graphic design to create titles, lower-thirds, and simple visual elements that enhance storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, along with basic audio editing tools.
- Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, export settings, and delivery standards for social media, web, and broadcast formats.
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and the ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in an on-site team environment in Dhanbad.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating completed video editing projects is required.
