Role Description
- Edit high-quality educational and promotional videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms
- Manage end-to-end video editing workflow including cutting, transitions, subtitles, audio syncing, color correction, and basic motion graphics
- Create engaging short-form and long-form content optimized for audience retention and platform performance
- Coordinate with content writers, faculty, social media managers, and marketing teams for smooth content execution
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files, assets, and content libraries efficiently
- Ensure timely delivery of videos as per content calendars and deadlines
- Add captions, graphics, animations, B-rolls, and visual elements to improve viewer engagement
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content
- Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms
- Assist in content planning and suggest creative improvements for better audience engagement
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing techniques
- 1–4 years of experience in video editing, preferably in EdTech or education industry
- Experience with Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality
- Strong skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics creation for dynamic content
- Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
- Attention to detail and creativity to produce visually compelling content
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
