Role Description The Video Editor role at Voiworld is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Video Editor will assemble raw footage into polished videos, apply cuts, transitions, and effects, and ensure that all content aligns with project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with producers and designers, organizing and managing media assets, performing basic sound adjustments, and preparing videos in various formats for social media, web, and other channels. The role also involves refining color, adding motion graphics or visual elements where needed, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects. The Video Editor is expected to participate in creative discussions, provide input on visual style, and maintain a consistent quality standard across all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production and video editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in video color grading and basic color correction to achieve consistent and visually appealing results.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to enhance visual storytelling and brand identity.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop or similar tools).
- Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, formats, and export settings for various digital platforms.
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to interpret creative briefs and feedback constructively.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in New Delhi in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
