Role Description The Video Editor role at Vign is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur. In this role, the Video Editor will assemble, edit, and refine video content for commercials, branded films, music videos, and other cinematic projects, ensuring alignment with creative direction and brand objectives. Responsibilities include selecting and organizing footage, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and collaborating closely with directors, producers, and motion designers. The Video Editor will perform color grading and basic sound adjustments, prepare deliverables in multiple formats, and maintain organized project files. The role may also involve experimenting with AI-assisted tools and workflows to enhance efficiency while preserving the artistic quality of the final output.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills for assembling narratives and managing end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to enhance visual tone, mood, and consistency across cinematic projects.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create titles, overlays, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with AI-assisted video tools is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to interpret creative briefs and feedback constructively.
- Ability to work on-site in Raipur, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary creative teams, and manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, or a related field, along with a portfolio showcasing cinematic editing work, is preferred.
