Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling video content for marketing campaigns, product launches, community initiatives, and investor-focused materials. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, applying color grading, creating motion graphics and overlays, adding sound and music, and ensuring visual consistency with brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with the content, marketing, and product teams to translate creative concepts into engaging video assets for digital platforms. The Video Editor will also optimize videos for various formats, maintain an organized asset library, and contribute ideas to improve visual storytelling and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, with experience managing end-to-end video workflows.
- Proficiency in video color grading and visual enhancement to maintain consistent, high-quality output.
- Ability to create motion graphics and use graphics effectively to support storytelling and brand messaging.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Solid understanding of digital and social media formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for online video distribution.
- Strong sense of pacing, narrative, and visual composition, with attention to detail and continuity.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site in Bengaluru.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in startup or tech ecosystems is an advantage.
