Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Video Editor. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and transforming podcast content into engaging short-form videos. Day-to-day tasks include video cutting, enhancing audio quality, adding dynamic effects, and integrating captions. The role also involves collaborating with team members to ensure brand consistency and delivering edits that are optimized for social media platforms.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Video Editing tools and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)
- Experience with Audio Editing and Video Effects to enhance production quality
- Understanding of social media platforms and trends to create optimized short-form content
- Ability to add dynamic Captions and Graphic Elements to ensure engaging visual storytelling
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills
- Previous experience in editing podcasts or social media video content is advantageous
- Access to reliable tools and software for remote editing work
