Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead the editing of video content across marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and internal communications.
- Manage the full post-production process: assembling raw footage, refining edits, incorporating sound, motion graphics, and effects to deliver polished outputs.
- Develop and maintain organized workflows, file structures, and video libraries for efficient team use.
- Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and content teams to interpret project briefs and translate them into compelling video narratives.
- Propose and implement creative approaches to enhance storytelling, brand voice, and audience engagement.
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and uphold high-quality standards across all deliverables.
- Stay current with industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging tools to elevate the production value.
- Mentor and guide junior editors or interns, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of motion graphics and animation (After Effects or similar).
- Proven expertise in visual storytelling, pacing, and editing for different formats (short-form, long-form, social media, etc.).
- Solid understanding of audio mixing, color grading, and post-production best practices.
- Minimum 1–5 years of professional experience in video editing or post-production.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining creative quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- A passion for content creation and an eye for innovative, audience-first storytelling.
