Role Description The Video Editor role at The Story of Love is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, operating in a hybrid model that combines on-site work with some flexibility for work from home. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into compelling videos, selecting and arranging clips, and synchronizing audio to deliver engaging content for marketing, social media, and in-store displays. Daily tasks include color grading, refining and ensuring brand consistency across all video assets and managing project timelines to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with feedback and able to balance creativity with efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production, including planning shoots, organizing footage and understanding visual storytelling.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing, including cutting, sequencing, transitions, and audio synchronization using professional editing software.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to adjust color, contrast, and overall visual tone for consistent and polished outputs.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or equivalent software.
- Strong sense of visual design, pacing, and narrative flow, with careful attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work setup.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in retail or brand-focused content is a plus.
