Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based at Nariman point, Mumbai. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing short- and long-form video content for social media, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, assembling timelines, applying transitions and effects, color correcting and grading, and integrating audio, graphics, and motion elements to create cohesive, high-performing videos. The role will collaborate closely with the creative, content, and strategy teams to translate briefs into visually compelling narratives that align with brand goals and digital growth strategies. The Video Editor will also optimize content for various platforms, maintain consistent visual standards, and stay current with trends and best practices in digital video.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling end-to-end editing workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual tone and enhance storytelling.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to elevate visual impact and brand identity.
- Hands-on experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Solid understanding of social media and digital content formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific best practices.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills and openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, communications, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio showcasing previous video work is required.
