Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Video Editor based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for some work from home. The Video Editor will assemble raw footage into polished videos, including cutting clips, adding transitions, and refining audio to meet project requirements and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with producers and designers, applying color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics, and preparing videos for various platforms and formats. The role also involves organizing project files, maintaining version control, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects. The Video Editor will provide creative input on story flow, pacing, and visual style to enhance overall content quality.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience assembling raw footage into cohesive stories.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with a solid understanding of color correction and visual consistency.
- Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create or integrate visual elements that support storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Working knowledge of audio editing, sound design basics, and exporting optimized files for web and social media.
- Ability to follow creative briefs, incorporate feedback constructively, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
