Role Description The Video Editor role at The Globix is a full-time, on-site position based in Amritsar. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and brand storytelling, ensuring high-quality output aligned with client objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, performing color grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with creative, design, and marketing teams to develop compelling video concepts, refine visual narratives, and deliver projects within deadlines. The role may also involve contributing ideas for content formats, optimizing videos for various platforms, and maintaining consistency in style across multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage, cutting, sequencing, and exporting across formats.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of content.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and brand messaging.
- Experience with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Good understanding of social media and digital marketing trends, video formats, and platform-specific requirements.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio showcasing completed video projects.
