Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Mumbai. The Video Editor will edit and assemble video content for multiple brands, including automotive, lifestyle, and product-focused formats, ensuring cohesive visual storytelling aligned with each brand’s identity. Responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting the best takes, adding transitions and sound, and delivering final cuts optimized for various digital platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with creative directors, producers, and designers to refine narratives, incorporate feedback, and maintain consistent quality across all content. The Video Editor will also support pre-production planning, contribute creative ideas for new formats, and manage project files, timelines, and exports in an efficient, organized manner.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, including experience managing footage from concept to final delivery.
- Proficiency in video color grading to maintain consistent visual tone and enhance the overall look and feel of content.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to support storytelling, branding, and on-screen information.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and related tools.
- Solid understanding of social and digital video formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and others.
- Strong visual storytelling instincts, attention to detail, and ability to work within brand guidelines and timelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to respond constructively to feedback and iterate quickly.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
