Job details:
We are hiring a Video Editor who executes briefs the way other editors wish they could think.
Not someone who makes things look pretty. Someone who makes ads perform.
You receive a brief at 9am. It tells you exactly what to build, how long it should be, what the captions look like, where the cuts happen, and what audio to use. By the next morning it is delivered. Clean. Correct. No follow-up questions.
You do not make creative decisions. You execute them. You do not need to be told what looks good. You need to know how to build what the brief says looks good — fast, accurately, and without being chased.
Apply only if you can join within 7 days.
Start date: on or before 28 May 2026. If you cannot join by then, please do not apply.
What you actually do here
You receive a complete production brief. A-roll, B-roll, audio, captions, timing, output spec — everything is in the brief. You build the ad. You deliver the file. You do this every day.
One day you are assembling a 15-second text overlay ad with a frozen AI avatar and 13 caption cards that each need to hit at exactly the right second. The next you are cutting a 33-second hybrid ad with a UGC hook, a rapid macro proof sequence, and a male VO that needs to land on specific visuals at specific timestamps. The day after that you are delivering three variations of the same winning ad with one element changed in each.
You work with AI-generated footage every day. Seedance 2.0. Kling 3.0. Nano Banana Pro. If you have never edited AI-generated video, this role will be hard. If you have, you already know why this is different from editing human footage.
You work directly with the creative strategist and the founder. You ship daily. You never need to be chased.
What we need
You read a brief the way a surgeon reads an X-ray. You know exactly what you are building before you open your timeline. You catch the detail that breaks an ad before it breaks on a live account.
Must have:
- You have edited vertical short-form ads for Meta or TikTok that have actually run with real spend behind them. Not personal projects. Not spec work. Real ads.
- You can match a reference video exactly. Pacing, caption style, cut timing, audio levels. If the reference cuts on the beat, your edit cuts on the beat.
- You are fast. A 30-second ad with all assets provided takes you under 6 hours. Not 2 days.
- You have worked with AI-generated footage — Seedance, Kling, Runway, HeyGen or similar. You know how to handle the motion artifacts, the lip sync corrections, the texture inconsistencies.
- You caption your own ads. You know what word-by-word captions look like and you can execute them without an auto-caption tool producing garbage that needs to be manually fixed.
- You have an eye for what breaks an ad. A caption that is 2 frames late. A cut that happens on the wrong syllable. You catch these before delivery, not after.
- You must have worked with a US ecom brand before.
Tool stack:
- CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve After Effects, your daily driver. You are fast in it. You do not Google basic functions.
- You use AI tools to move faster. Not to skip steps. There is a difference.
- You stay current. You know what dropped last week in the editing and AI video space.
Mindset (non-negotiable):
- You are obsessed with the brief. If the brief says red on $300, it is red on $300. Not orange. Not dark red. Red.
- You think about retention. You know the first 3 seconds of a Meta ad determine everything and you treat them accordingly.
- This is a startup. We work when the work needs to get done. That includes weekends. If that is a problem, this is not the role.
What you get
- Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month based on experience
- Fully remote, IST hours
- Direct access to the creative strategist and founder, no layers
- Real production ownership from day one
- Uncapped upside. We run multiple products and we promote people who ship quality consistently. The right person here does not stay at Rs. 50,000 for long.
How to get hired
There is no resume review. There is a build task.
The Google form below has everything. You will be given a complete brief, a reference video, and all production assets. You build the ad and deliver the file. That is Round 1.
We pay for good work. Top submissions get compensated regardless of whether you are hired. Quality deserves to be rewarded.
If your build is good, we will talk. If it is not, we will not waste each other's time.
Use every tool you have. Read the brief completely. Watch the reference five times before you start.

Applications outside the form will not be reviewed. We read every submission carefully before shortlisting.
