Company Description
The Chai Dealer Private Limited is a fast-growing D2C FMCG brand on a mission to build the largest tea and beverages brand of India. We're a lean, ambitious team based out of Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR, that moves quickly, experiments constantly, and believes great content is core to how modern brands win. As we scale, we're building a founding team of people who don't just want a job — they want to build something real, take ownership, and grow alongside the company.s. We aim to create a community of Chaipreneurs who share our love for exceptional tea experiences.
Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Video Editor based out of Delhi NCR. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, high-performing videos — including reels, ads, product videos, and social content. The role involves owning pacing, cuts, sound design, and overall storytelling, working with minimal hand-holding (raw footage + a general goal rather than a shot-by-shot brief), collaborating closely with the founding team to translate brand voice visually, and continuously experimenting with new formats and tools. This is a core team position combining in-office collaboration with flexibility to work remotely part of the time, with responsibilities expected to evolve as the company scales.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of hands-on video editing experience (agency, brand, or strong personal portfolio)
- Experience with Motion Graphics and the ability to create visually appealing animations
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
- Strong skills in storytelling, pacing, cuts, and sound design, with the confidence to defend creative choices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- A genuine passion for editing, ideally with personal or passion projects outside of client work
- Comfort working with ambiguity — thrives with a vague brief and raw material rather than rigid instructions
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred
