The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The individual in this role will edit and assemble recorded raw material into polished video content for academic, marketing, and institutional communication purposes. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing footage, applying color correction, adding motion graphics, and integrating audio elements to create engaging videos. The Video Editor will collaborate with faculty and administrative teams to understand content requirements, maintain brand consistency, and deliver projects within set timelines. The role may also involve supporting video production activities such as basic shooting, file management, and optimizing content for various digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic color correction workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for visual storytelling and branding.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar).
- Solid understanding of audio editing, formats, and exporting for web and social media platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with academic and administrative teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred; equivalent demonstrated experience is also valued.
- Prior experience in educational or institutional video content creation is an advantage.
