RRole Description
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Video Editor. The role involves end-to-end video editing for both narrative and commercial content, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with creative direction and client expectations. The Video Editor will be responsible for managing the video production workflow, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and maintaining consistency in visual quality, color, and storytelling across all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content
- Ensure consistency in tone, pacing, color grading, and overall visual aesthetics
- Collaborate with creative teams, producers, and clients to align on project requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Optimize content for various platforms (digital, social media, advertisements, etc.)
- Maintain organized project files and workflows for efficient production
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve
- Hands-on experience with color grading and color correction to achieve visual consistency
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects
- Understanding of video codecs, formats, and export settings for different platforms
- Familiarity with sound design and audio editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition)
- Basic knowledge of cinematography principles, storytelling, and visual composition
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and quality
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while effectively collaborating with teams
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a creative studio, production house, or agency environment
- Skills in motion graphics, animation, and graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator)
- Exposure to social media content trends and short-form video editing
- Basic understanding of AI-based video tools or automation workflows is a plus
