About the Role
SysAdvise is looking for a Video Editor who understands more than just cuts and transitions. We need someone with a strong sense of aesthetics, pacing, storytelling, and social media behaviour. Someone who can turn raw footage into reels and videos that feel sharp, premium, and built for attention.
The ideal candidate should understand what makes content scroll-stopping, emotionally engaging, and platform-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit reels, short-form videos, campaign videos, and social media content
- Create engaging edits with strong pacing, hooks, transitions, music sync, and visual flow
- Work on brand-led videos, product reels, founder videos, event edits, and campaign content
- Add captions, text overlays, basic motion graphics, and sound design where required
- Understand social media trends and adapt them tastefully for different brands
- Work closely with the strategy, content, and design teams to bring ideas to life
- Ensure final videos are polished, brand-aligned, and ready for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms
- Manage feedback, revisions, and exports in required formats
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in video editing
- Strong understanding of reel-style editing and social-first content
- Good aesthetic sense for frames, colours, typography, music, and pacing
- Ability to create videos that feel fresh, engaging, and shareable
- Knowledge of editing tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Basic motion graphics knowledge will be an added advantage
- Ability to work with deadlines and handle multiple client projects
Good To Have
- Experience editing brand reels, product videos, or performance marketing creatives
- Understanding of hooks, retention, and viral content formats
- Interest in AI-assisted visuals and new-age content tools
