Role Description The Video Editor role at Superbliz is a full-time, remote position responsible for transforming raw footage into polished visual content for a variety of platforms. Day-to-day tasks include editing video content for brand campaigns, social media, websites, and advertisements, ensuring cohesive storytelling and alignment with client objectives. The role involves applying color grading, basic sound alignment, and motion graphics to enhance visual impact and maintain brand consistency. The Video Editor will collaborate with designers, strategists, and project managers to interpret briefs, refine concepts, and deliver projects on time. Additional responsibilities include managing media assets, preparing files for different formats and channels, and staying current with video trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including structuring narratives, trimming footage, and assembling timelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visuals that match brand and project requirements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower-thirds, transitions, and simple visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is preferred.
- Strong visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and the ability to follow and enhance brand guidelines are essential.
- Effective communication skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and the ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams are required.
- Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment and a portfolio showcasing video and motion work are highly beneficial.
