About the Role: We are looking for a Video Editor who can translate ideas into powerful, scroll-stopping video content. This role is focused on shaping SoulSensei’s digital storytelling through short-form videos that are engaging, emotionally resonant, and aligned with platform trends. You will be responsible for bringing raw concepts to life and ensuring every piece of content reflects the brand’s voice and intent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and deliver high-quality short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
- Transform raw footage and concepts into cohesive, engaging narratives.
- Apply motion graphics, typography, transitions, and effects in line with modern social media trends.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align output with campaign objectives and brand direction.
- Continuously explore new editing styles, formats, and creative approaches to enhance engagement.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery.
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong understanding of short-form content ecosystems and audience behaviour on social platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing tools.
- Strong visual storytelling sense with attention to pacing, structure, and detail.
- Familiarity with trend-driven editing styles, motion design, and typography systems.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver under tight timelines.
- Must have access to a personal laptop with required software.
