Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Video Editor role based in New Delhi. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging video content for social media and digital campaigns, aligned with each client’s brand voice and objectives. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with strategists and designers, organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, and integrating motion graphics and text overlays. The role also involves basic color correction and grading, syncing audio, exporting content in platform-specific formats, and maintaining an organized asset library. The Video Editor will be expected to manage timelines, adapt edits based on feedback, and contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, with experience turning raw footage into compelling stories.
- Proficiency in video color grading and basic post-production workflows.
- Capability in motion graphics and graphics creation for social media and digital campaigns.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Understanding of social media platforms, aspect ratios, and best practices for short-form and vertical video.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to work on-site in New Delhi within part-time hours.
- Effective communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
