Role Description The Video Editor role at SMT Labs Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. In this role, the Video Editor will edit raw footage into polished video content, including cutting, sequencing, adding transitions, and syncing audio. The person will collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to understand project objectives and align visual storytelling with brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include performing color correction and grading, incorporating motion graphics and basic visual effects, and preparing videos for multiple digital platforms. The Video Editor will also manage media assets, maintain organized project files, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality video outputs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for creating professional, engaging video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone and style across all projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design and integrate visual elements, titles, and animations into videos.
- Candidates should have proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic/motion tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, creative storytelling ability, and strong visual sense, along with the capacity to follow brand guidelines.
- Candidates should be able to work on-site in Indore, meet deadlines, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects.
- A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field, and prior experience in professional video editing or post-production, will be beneficial.
