Role Description The Video Editor role at SME Metrix is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished video content for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and other digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include applying color grading, refining audio, adding motion graphics and visual effects, and ensuring brand consistency across all video assets. The role involves collaborating closely with the creative, marketing, and design teams to understand project goals, storyboard concepts, and meet deadlines. The Video Editor will also organize and manage video files, maintain an efficient post-production workflow, and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and visual enhancement.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for digital content.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is preferred.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and deliver high-quality content within deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, storytelling ability, and a portfolio showcasing relevant video work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Hyderabad.
