Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Video Editor role based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Video Editor will manage the end-to-end post-production process, including organizing footage, editing video sequences, adding transitions, syncing audio, and preparing deliverables for multiple platforms. The role includes collaborating with creative and marketing teams to understand project briefs, propose visual storytelling approaches, and maintain brand consistency across all outputs. Day-to-day tasks involve color correction and grading, basic sound refinement, motion graphics integration, and adapting content into various formats and aspect ratios for social media, web, and campaigns. The Video Editor will also optimize workflows, maintain project file organization, meet deadlines, and stay current with editing trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including organizing footage, assembling rough cuts, and delivering polished final videos.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading, with the ability to correct exposure, balance color, and create consistent looks across scenes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and on-brand visual elements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, accept feedback constructively, and iterate quickly.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing and motion work; experience with digital or social-first content is a plus.
- Relevant education or certification in film, media, animation, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory if skills are demonstrated through experience.
