Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Hyderabad. The Video Editor will work closely with producers, designers, and other team members to edit raw footage into compelling, coherent video content for various platforms. Daily tasks include organizing and assembling footage, trimming and arranging clips, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and ensuring continuity and pacing. The role also involves color grading to maintain visual consistency, integrating motion graphics and static graphics, and exporting deliverables in required formats and resolutions. The Video Editor will collaborate on storyboarding, provide creative input on visual storytelling, and maintain project files and workflows to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to maintain consistent look, tone, and visual quality across projects.
- Capability in Motion Graphics to create and integrate titles, overlays, animations, and visual assets.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Solid understanding of audio editing basics, codecs, formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific delivery requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines on-site.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
- Relevant coursework or a degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
