Job OverviewWe are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who is passionate about storytelling through video and eager to work with multiple brands across different industries.
You will primarily work on script-based reel videos, ensuring high-quality edits with precise timing, engaging visuals, and accurate sound design.
Key Responsibilities- Edit short-form, script-based videos (Reels/Shorts) for multiple companies
- Translate scripts into visually compelling video content
- Add and sync sound effects, background music, and voiceovers accurately
- Ensure smooth transitions, pacing, and storytelling flow
- Collaborate with content creators, scriptwriters, and marketing teams
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
- Stay updated with current video trends, especially for social media platforms
Requirements- 0–1 year of experience in video editing (internships/freelance work included)
- Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software
- Strong sense of timing, audio syncing, and visual storytelling
- Ability to follow scripts closely and execute creative direction
- Basic understanding of social media content formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Attention to detail, especially in sound design and effects placement
- Good communication and time management skills
Work Setup- Hybrid work model (remote + occasional in-office collaboration)
- Flexible working hours with deliverable-based expectations
Bonus Skills (Good to Have)- Motion graphics and basic animation
- Experience with color grading
- Knowledge of trending edits and viral content styles
