Role Description
We are looking for a Video Editing Intern for a 3-month remote internship.
This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about video editing, social media content, Reels, short-form videos, and creative storytelling. You do not need years of professional experience — we are looking for someone with basic editing skills, creativity, and a willingness to learn and improve.
You will work remotely on real client and internal projects while collaborating with our creative and marketing team.
What You'll Do
- Edit Instagram Reels, social media videos, promotional videos, and other short-form content.
- Convert raw footage into engaging and polished videos.
- Add captions, text, transitions, music, sound effects, and basic visual effects.
- Create engaging edits suitable for social media platforms.
- Perform basic color correction and audio adjustments when required.
- Use simple motion graphics, animated text, and visual elements to improve video quality and engagement.
- Follow creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Optimize videos for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital channels.
- Organize project files and maintain a smooth editing workflow.
- Collaborate remotely with the creative team and implement feedback.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of video editing is required.
- Familiarity with one or more video editing tools such as:
- CapCut
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Other relevant editing software
- Basic understanding of AI-powered video editing tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of captions, transitions, effects, music, and text overlays.
- Interest in social media trends, Reels, and short-form content.
- A good sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and improve.
- Ability to take feedback positively and meet deadlines.
- A basic portfolio or sample of previous work is preferred, but professional experience is not mandatory.
- Must have access to a suitable laptop/desktop and a stable internet connection.
