Role Description The Video Editor role at Pravi is a full-time, on-site position based in Gandhinagar. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including editing raw footage, assembling narratives, and applying transitions, effects, and audio to create compelling visual stories. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with strategy and marketing teams to understand project objectives, aligning video content with brand and campaign goals, and preparing content optimized for digital platforms. The role involves color grading, basic sound adjustments, and the creation or integration of motion graphics and visual elements. The Video Editor will also maintain organized project files, manage media assets, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production, including planning, shooting coordination, and managing raw footage.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing to cut, sequence, refine, and finalize videos for various formats and platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency, tone, and overall image quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create or integrate visual elements, titles, and animations.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of pacing, framing, and composition.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, take feedback constructively, and work to deadlines in an on-site environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
