Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Gurugram. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling and editing raw footage from studio and client shoots into polished, engaging videos for various platforms. Daily tasks include organizing media, trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, sound, and basic effects, and ensuring consistent pacing and storytelling. The role involves color correcting and grading footage to match desired visual styles, integrating graphics and simple motion elements, and collaborating with directors, producers, and marketing teammates to refine creative concepts. The Video Editor will also manage project timelines, maintain file organization, and export deliverables in platform-specific formats while adhering to brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, including experience working with professional cameras and editing software.
- Proficiency in video color grading and color correction to maintain consistent visual tone across projects.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and basic graphics for titles, lower thirds, and brand elements.
- Familiarity with social media and digital content formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for short-form and long-form video.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual synchronization.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Experience with industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to collaborate on-site with creative teams in Gurugram and openness to feedback and iterative revisions.
