We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can help us build engaging content for YouTube and Instagram.
Role Overview
We are hiring a full-time Video Editor who can edit high-quality, platform-optimized videos for our brand. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, hooks, and visual presentation. This role will support both short-form and long-form video content across Instagram and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and other digital platforms
- Create engaging cuts, transitions, and visual flow to improve retention
- Add basic motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, and effects where needed
- Understand and apply strong hooks for short-form content
- Work closely with the content and marketing team to align edits with brand goals
- Maintain consistency in style, tone, and quality across all videos
- Use AI tools and workflows at a basic level to improve editing efficiency
- Organize project files and deliver edits on time
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Working knowledge of After Effects
- Basic motion animation skills
- Understanding of video hooks and content retention basics
- Basic understanding of AI tools used in content creation and editing
- Strong attention to detail and creative judgment
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Must have a personal PC or laptop. Equipment will not be provided by the company
Preferred Qualities
- Experience editing content for brands, creators, or social media pages
- Understanding of current social media trends and audience behavior
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple video tasks efficiently
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and improve output based on feedback
Compensation
- Monthly salary: ₹25,000
- Full-time remote role
- Working hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
