Role Description This is a full-time Video Editor role based in Hyderabad, with a hybrid work model that allows some work from home. The Video Editor will edit and assemble video content for branding, marketing campaigns, websites, apps, and social media, following creative briefs and project guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include trimming footage, arranging timelines, syncing audio, applying transitions and visual effects, and performing basic color correction and grading to maintain a consistent look and feel. The role involves collaborating with designers, motion graphics specialists, and marketers to develop cohesive visual narratives that support campaign objectives and brand identity. The Video Editor will also manage media assets, export deliverables in required formats, and maintain organized project files to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital, social, and marketing content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to achieve consistent visual tone.
- Ability to create or integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand messaging.
- Experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Good understanding of sound syncing, pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, respond to feedback constructively, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Previous experience in a creative agency, production house, or digital media environment is preferred; a portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant work is required.
