Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Varanasi. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished video content for social media, educational platforms, and marketing campaigns, aligned with PhysioForLife PFL’s brand and messaging. Daily tasks include organizing and trimming footage, assembling sequences, syncing audio, applying basic visual effects, and ensuring smooth storytelling that clearly communicates rehab concepts and performance training insights. The role also involves collaborating with physiotherapists and the marketing team to understand content goals, creating short-form and long-form videos, and optimizing videos for different digital channels. The Video Editor will maintain consistent visual standards, manage project timelines, and contribute creative ideas to improve audience engagement and brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Production skills, including planning shots, understanding basic camera operations, and managing raw footage.
- Candidates should possess proficient Video Editing skills, such as cutting, sequencing, adding transitions, and syncing sound using professional editing software.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to enhance visual consistency, mood, and overall image quality.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create titles, overlays, and simple animations that support educational and promotional content.
- Relevant additional qualifications include familiarity with social media video formats (Reels, Shorts), basic audio editing, and an understanding of storytelling for health and fitness content.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work closely with clinical and marketing teams are essential.
- A diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in video editing, is preferred.
- Prior experience producing content in healthcare, sports, fitness, or education domains is an advantage.
