About the RolePeppy is looking for a Video Editor to create engaging, fast-paced content for social media, UGC, and performance campaigns.
This role focuses on editing short-form content that retains attention, not long-form or cinematic editing.
Key Responsibilities- Edit short-form videos (Reels, ads, UGC content)
- Work with raw footage from shoots and creators
- Add on-screen text, subtitles, transitions, and basic effects
- Ensure strong pacing, flow, and retention throughout the video
- Adapt edits based on platform requirements and references
- Make revisions based on feedback quickly
Requirements- Basic proficiency in editing tools (Premiere Pro / CapCut / After Effects, etc.)
- Understanding of short-form content formats
- Good sense of timing, cuts, and pacing
- Attention to detail (audio, text, alignment, formatting)
- Ability to follow references and execute briefs
Good to Have- Experience editing Instagram Reels / performance ads
- Understanding of hooks and viewer retention
- Awareness of trends and content formats
