Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 3–4 years of professional editing experience and good exposure to AI-powered video creation and editing tools. The ideal candidate should possess strong storytelling abilities, technical editing expertise, and a keen understanding of modern content formats to create engaging, visually polished, and brand-aligned content.
This role involves editing both short-form and long-form content across digital platforms, including social media reels, branded videos, documentaries, podcasts, and digital series.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos) and long-form content (YouTube videos, documentaries, episodic series, branded content).
- Utilize AI video tools and workflows to enhance editing efficiency, creativity, and production quality.
- Enhance videos using motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, titles, and visual effects to create premium-quality content.
- Perform color correction, audio synchronization, sound enhancement, and basic sound design.
- Collaborate closely with writers, producers, designers, and the creative team to translate concepts into impactful visual storytelling.
- Repurpose raw footage into multiple platform-optimized formats for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Stay updated with emerging AI video editing trends, tools, and content styles to deliver innovative and engaging outputs.
- Deliver high-quality edits aligned with brand tone, audience engagement, and storytelling objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–4 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production.
- Good exposure to AI video editing and AI-assisted content creation tools/workflows.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and basic Photoshop.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video tools/platforms such as Runway, Descript, Pika, Synthesia, HeyGen, or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Experience editing content for social media platforms and digital-first brands.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong portfolio showcasing editing skills, storytelling ability, and creative execution.
