About the Role
One Nation Studioz is looking for a creative, responsible, and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and professional post-production workflows.
You will work on podcasts, interviews, social-media content, promotional videos, and other studio productions. This role requires someone who can organise projects properly, follow creative direction, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality across every edit.
The selected candidate will be trained according to our internal editing workflow, file-management system, and project-management process.
Key Responsibilities
Edit long-form and short-form video content using DaVinci Resolve.
Create engaging edits with strong pacing, structure, and storytelling.
Edit podcasts, interviews, promotional content, reels, shorts, and social-media videos.
Clean, balance, and enhance dialogue, music, sound effects, and background audio.
Use music and sound design effectively to improve the overall impact of an edit.
Perform basic colour correction and maintain visual consistency across footage from multiple cameras.
Follow the studio’s naming conventions, folder structure, backup process, and delivery workflow.
Manage multiple editing projects and keep their progress updated.
Coordinate with the production team, editors, and project managers.
Review feedback carefully and complete revisions within the given timeline.
Maintain quality control before exporting and delivering final videos.
Work from the office for project coordination, editing, file transfers, or urgent deliveries.
