Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Pune City. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into compelling, on-brand content for digital campaigns, social media, ads, and marketing assets. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with creative, marketing, and strategy teams to understand project goals, follow briefs, and maintain visual consistency across deliverables. The role involves managing timelines, organizing media assets, applying basic sound adjustments, and preparing exports for multiple platforms and formats. The Video Editor will also contribute creative ideas to improve storytelling, visual quality, and performance of video content, while staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, sequencing, trimming, and pacing to create cohesive narratives.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, enhance mood, and align with brand aesthetics.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create intros, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations for digital content.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio polishing.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, work closely with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling abilities, and an understanding of content requirements for social media and performance marketing.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior video editing work; experience in advertising, digital marketing, or agency environments is an advantage.
- Relevant education in film, media, design, communication, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
