Position: Video Editor & Creative Designer
Department: Marketing & Content
Reporting To: HR / Marketing Lead
Role Summary
The Video Editor & Creative Designer is responsible for creating high-quality video and visual content to support branding, marketing, and client engagement. This role involves end-to-end video production, creative design, and ensuring the timely delivery of engaging digital content across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Content Creation
* Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, website, and internal platforms
* Work on various formats, including reels, testimonials, tutorials, podcasts, and event videos
* Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and communication strategy
* Manage multiple video projects simultaneously with consistency in quality
2. Video Shoot Coordination
* Plan and execute video shoots for recipes, workshops, testimonials, and events
* Coordinate with internal teams for shoot schedules and requirements
* Ensure proper lighting, framing, and overall production quality
* Handle basic equipment setup and shoot execution
3. Graphic Designing & Creative Development
* Design creatives for campaigns, workshops, events, and promotions
* Develop branding materials such as brochures, banners, and digital assets
* Ensure visual consistency across all communication channels
* Collaborate with marketing and content teams for creative concepts
4. Content Performance & Quality Optimization
* Monitor performance of video content (engagement, reach, etc.)
* Continuously improve content quality based on audience response
* Apply creative storytelling techniques to enhance engagement
5. Timely Delivery & Content Planning
* Ensure all content is edited and delivered as per schedule
* Coordinate with social media teams to avoid delays in posting
* Maintain a content pipeline to support consistent publishing
6. Market Research & Trend Analysis
* Stay updated with latest content trends, editing styles, and formats
* Conduct periodic research on industry trends and audience preferences
* Suggest new ideas and formats to improve content strategy
7. Operational Excellence
* Ensure error-free, high-quality output in all deliverables
* Maintain organized file management and version control
* Follow standardized processes for editing and content delivery
8. Governance & Compliance
* Adhere to brand guidelines and internal SOPs
* Ensure all content meets quality and compliance standards
* Maintain proper documentation and approvals for content usage
9. Learning & Development
* Participate in training programs to enhance editing and design skills
* Continuously upgrade technical and creative capabilities
* Apply new tools, techniques, and trends in daily work
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Media, Design, or related field (preferred)
* 1–4 years of experience in video editing and graphic design
* Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Canva, etc.
* Strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, and visual design
* Basic knowledge of camera handling and video shooting
* Creative thinking with attention to detail
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
