Job Overview
Nischals Smart Learning Solutions is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team full-time, working from our Hyderabad office.
The ideal candidate should be able to transform raw footage into professional, engaging, and platform-ready videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
We are looking for someone who understands not just editing, but also what makes people stop scrolling, watch, and engage.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Create engaging videos with strong pacing, storytelling, transitions, effects, music, and visual elements.
- Edit product videos, educational content, event coverage, promotional videos, interviews, and social-media content.
- Add appropriate text overlays, subtitles, motion graphics, sound effects, background music, and visual effects.
- Adapt videos to different platform formats, aspect ratios, and audience expectations.
- Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, viral formats, and social-media content patterns.
- Work closely with the marketing and creative team to understand the objective of each video and deliver content accordingly.
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files, assets, and final videos efficiently.
- Maintain consistent brand identity and visual quality across all content.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of short-form content and social-media trends.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, transitions, and music selection.
- Ability to create videos that are professional, polished, and engaging.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation will be an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the marketing team.
- Portfolio/showreel is required.
