Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Gurugram. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into compelling video content for marketing, branding, training, and internal communication purposes. Daily tasks include organizing and reviewing footage, editing video sequences, adding motion graphics and visual elements, and applying color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency. The role involves collaborating with creative, marketing, and client teams to interpret briefs, refine storylines, and ensure videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives. The Video Editor will also export and optimize videos for different platforms, maintain an organized asset library, and stay current with trends and best practices in video production.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills, including working with raw footage, timelines, and post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual quality and mood across projects.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is preferred.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of composition, pacing, and audio-video synchronization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience as a Video Editor or in a similar content production role; a portfolio or showreel showcasing previous work is highly beneficial.
- Formal education in film, media, design, communications, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory when supported by strong practical experience.
