We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content that captures attention and keeps viewers watching.
This role goes beyond basic editing. You will be responsible for shaping the overall feel of the content through pacing, storytelling, visual flow, and sound design. The goal is to create videos that are not only visually appealing but also hold attention, communicate clearly, and drive engagement.
You’ll be working closely with our team to maintain consistency in style, improve content quality over time, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
What You’ll Do:
- Edit short-form content such as Reels and Shorts, along with long-form YouTube videos with a strong focus on engagement
- Create YouTube videos optimized for retention, including hooks, pacing, storytelling, and watch time improvement
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and music
- Create fast-paced, high-retention edits using pattern interrupts
- Use AI tools to generate models, visuals, and voiceovers
- Repurpose content into multiple variations efficiently
- Ensure content matches brand tone, style, and audience intent
- Create videos from scratch using motion graphics without any footage, including explainer-style and visual storytelling content
What We’re Looking For (Mandatory):
- 2+ years of experience in video editing
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as AI-generated visuals, avatars, and voiceovers
- Proven ability to create high-engagement edits including hooks, subtitles, pacing, and retention strategies
- Experience editing and optimizing YouTube videos for audience retention and performance
- Ability to create motion-based videos without raw footage using graphics, animations, stock, or AI
- Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual flow
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
