Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at My Content Cafe. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for various digital platforms, including social media, marketing campaigns, and client presentations. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and structuring clips, adding transitions, sound, and visual effects, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The role involves collaborating with growth marketers, designers, and content strategists to translate concepts into compelling video stories, as well as adapting content for different formats and audiences. The Video Editor will also contribute creative ideas, maintain project file organization, and manage deadlines across multiple
projects.Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for digital and social media content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent brand aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements, titles, and animations.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or equivalents).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and adapt content for multiple platforms and formats.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- Relevant experience in video editing for marketing, social media, or agency environments; a portfolio or showreel is required.
