Role Description The Video Editor role at My City Odisha is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos that effectively communicate the company’s township vision, projects, and brand stories. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and selecting clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, incorporating motion graphics and titles, and performing basic color correction to ensure visual consistency. The role involves collaborating closely with the marketing and project teams to understand content goals, adapt edits based on feedback, and meet deadlines for campaigns, social media, and promotional materials. The Video Editor will also help maintain a consistent visual style across all video content and contribute creative ideas for new video formats and storytelling approaches.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to plan, assemble, and refine high-quality video content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual appeal and maintain consistent look and feel across projects.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with Graphics to support branding, titles, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, multimedia, or a related field is an advantage; prior experience in real estate or township projects is a plus.
