Role Description The Video Editor role at Monk Creatives is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing videos for corporate, social media, and marketing campaigns, and ensuring that content aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives. Day-to-day tasks include trimming clips, adding transitions, synchronizing audio, applying color correction, incorporating motion graphics, and collaborating with designers and marketers to produce engaging visual content. The role also involves maintaining organized project files, meeting deadlines, and working closely with the creative team to refine concepts and deliver polished final outputs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and high-quality visual aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating dynamic visual elements and overlays.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and incorporate feedback constructively.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial, as is prior experience in agency or studio environments.
