Video Editor
1 Position | Full-Time | Onsite, Indore
MIDGROW is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who understands short-form content, social media trends and visual storytelling.
This role is not just about cutting footage together. You should understand what makes content engaging, have a strong sense of pacing and storytelling, and be able to turn raw footage or a creative brief into compelling social media content.
What You'll Do
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements and social media content.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, platform-ready short-form videos.
- Work on hooks, pacing, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music and visual elements.
- Edit content according to brand guidelines, creative briefs and campaign objectives.
- Understand and implement current Instagram/Reels editing trends and formats.
- Create multiple variations of hooks, intros, transitions and edits for content testing.
- Work closely with content strategists, social media managers, UGC creators and the creative team.
- Edit videos for multiple brands and different target audiences.
- Assist with basic motion graphics, animations and visual effects where required.
- Maintain consistency in visual style, branding and overall video quality.
- Organize and manage project files, footage and editing assets efficiently.
- Stay updated with emerging video editing trends, creator formats and social media content styles.
- Participate in client shoots and in-office content production when required.
What We're Looking For
- Strong interest in video editing, social media and digital content.
- Good understanding of short-form content and social media platforms.
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, storytelling and visual composition.
- Ability to understand hooks, CTAs, audience retention and content formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar editing software.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, color correction and sound design is a plus.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn, experiment and adapt to new editing styles.
- Previous experience in social media, advertising, agency or content creation is a plus.
- Portfolio/Showreel is preferred and strongly encouraged.

Position: 1
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 6 Months – 2 Years
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000/month (based on skills and experience)
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: 65, Shree Mangal Nagar, Near Bangali Square, 452016, Indore
Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Working Days: Monday – Saturday
