Job Overview
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team in Pune. In this role, you’ll turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos across social media, marketing, and digital platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and marketers to produce videos that reflect our brand and meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, marketing, and promotional use
- Cut, trim, and arrange clips to create clear, engaging narratives
- Add background music, sound effects, graphics, and visual enhancements
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure videos align with concepts and objectives
- Perform basic color correction and grading for visual consistency
- Sync audio and improve sound quality where required
- Create simple motion graphics or animations when needed
- Export and optimize videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Organize and maintain video files, assets, and project archives
- Stay up to date with editing trends, formats, and tools
Requirements & Skills
- Prior experience in video editing with a portfolio of work (academic or personal projects accepted for freshers)
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is a plus
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow
- Understanding of color correction and basic audio editing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset
- Familiarity with video formats, compression, and export settings for online platforms
- Awareness of current social media video trends is an advantage
