We're Hiring: Video Editor, AI-First | Produced & AI Content
Are you the kind of person who stops scrolling to notice the cut, the colour grade, the sound design - the craft behind the content?
If you're excited about the craft of editing, pacing, sound, colour, narrative flow - and equally excited about learning how AI video tools can amplify that work, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for a Video Editor to join the team at Meru Activs.
Whether you're fresh out of film school, have completed internships, or come from a YouTube creator background, we're more interested in your eye for pacing, your willingness to learn new tools monthly, and your hunger to own projects than in the years on your resume.
As a growing health tech startup, every project is different. You'll shoot and edit produced videos for our 50+ audience one week, then compose and refine AI video output the next. You'll own colour grading, sound design, motion graphics, platform optimization, and the creative problem-solving that happens in between. If you enjoy shipping quality work fast and pushing what's possible with generative tools, you'll fit right in.
What we're looking for:
✔ Strong fundamentals in video editing (Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
✔ Comfort with motion graphics and color grading basics
✔ Curiosity about AI video tools and how to use them creatively
✔ Attention to detail: pacing, sound, visual hierarchy, platform specs
✔ A portfolio or reel that shows your editing voice
✔ Hunger to learn and iterate fast
Bonus points if you can:
🎨 Design motion graphics in After Effects
🔊 Handle audio mixing and sound design
📱 Optimize for short-form platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
♿ Understand accessible design for older audiences
